Web applications

We build internal systems and customer portals that run in the browser, on any device. That can be stock control, orders, job sheets or reporting, but we will build around any other workflow where getting to the data quickly matters.

It is worth doing when several people use a process from several places, and today it is held together by spreadsheets, emails or an outdated program. Because it runs in the browser, there is nothing to install and nothing to update machine by machine. A new feature or a fix shows up for everyone right away.

The price is a one-time development fee plus a smaller monthly fee that covers the server, the backups and the maintenance. A well-built web application lasts for years, and since there is only one version to keep alive, the cost of later additions stays predictable. It can run in a European cloud or on the company's own server, depending on what fits the budget and where the data has to be stored.

Mobile apps

For iPhone and Android we usually build from one shared codebase, so you write and pay for one app instead of two. New features and fixes land in both versions at the same time, which keeps later development from costing twice as much. We only recommend going native when an app leans on the phone hardware deeply enough to be worth the extra cost.

The app can run on the same backend as the web interface, so the data handling and the logic are not built twice either. It works without signal, and anything recorded syncs automatically once there is a connection again. During development there is a version you can try on your phone at regular intervals, and at the end we publish it to the App Store and Google Play and hand over the source code.

AI & integrations

We build AI-driven solutions that extract data from documents, categorize incoming mail, or search through internal material. That covers processing invoices and PDFs, sorting inquiries automatically, and a search that finds the answer inside contracts and specifications too. We also build forecasting models that use existing data to say how stock, sales or a machine's maintenance needs will develop. The model can be an off-the-shelf one used through an API, one fine-tuned on your own data, or, where the task calls for it, trained from scratch. We build it into an existing system, or design a new system around it.

We connect the finished system to the external software already part of day-to-day operations, whether that is invoicing, a webshop, accounting software, a CRM or a simple spreadsheet. If a system has an API, we build on that. If it does not, we find a way to get the data where it needs to be.

Architecture & audits

For a new system we design the data model, the API structure and the multi-tenant architecture, and choose the tech stack. For an existing one we review the code for performance and security.

Maintenance & scaling

Hosting, CI/CD, automated backups, monitoring and alerts, bug fixes. As usage grows, we expand the infrastructure with it, adding caching, background queues or more capacity when the numbers call for it. We also take over existing systems.

How we work

Step 01

Scope

For a new product we agree on the end goal and the milestones that lead there. For an existing system we go through the processes, the documentation and the options. At the end you get a detailed report and plan, and once that's right, the offer follows.

Step 02

Build

Whether it's a new MVP or an existing system, the dashboard shows you the tasks, the milestones and where the work stands right now. At every milestone you get a version you can try, so you can test the features built so far.

Step 03

Launch

Once every feature is built and tested, we review the result together. The codebase, the documentation and the access then move over to you, and we set the system up for live use.

→ rolling out eu-central-1

Step 04

Scale

As usage grows, we scale the service and the infrastructure based on the data, so the system stays stable under load.

This is how your project would go.

One scope, one price, or an ongoing partnership

Pick the model that best fits what you want to build. Not sure which? A short conversation is enough to help you decide.

MVP

The first working version of a new product, from idea to first users.

  • Everything from discovery to launch
  • A testable version at every milestone
  • App store release or web launch
  • Fixed price and timeline
From €6k

Project

A new feature, an integration, a rework or an audit on an existing system.

  • Scope agreed up front
  • Fixed price and deadline
  • A testable version at every milestone
From €1.5k

Retainer

Ongoing development and operations for the longer term.

  • At least 10 hours a month, more if you need it
  • At the start of each month we decide together what gets built
  • Operations and monitoring are included
  • Cancel any month
From €450 / month

Hourly

For work that takes shape as it goes, without a fixed scope.

  • You only pay for the hours worked
  • You get a monthly hour report with the invoice
  • Each month you book as many hours as you need
€40–50 / hour

Why Slidey

You talk to the person writing the code

Before development starts, you discuss the scope directly with the developer. No middleman, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Messy processes become usable software

Rule-heavy, poorly documented workflows can be turned into a system your end users actually like using.

One scope, one price

We define what “done” means before we start. The price only changes if the scope changes.

You own everything

At the end, everything is handed over: code, documentation, access, the full commit history.

We always plan for the long run

We pick technology that is stable and still maintainable years later.

About me

I'm Levente Galvács, a full-stack developer and the founder of Slidey. I build systems, automate processes and also work in cybersecurity. I've been programming for almost 7–8 years.

I like logic-heavy problems most, the ones where the answer often isn't obvious right away. AI and ML also get a lot of my attention. Most of my days go on research, planning and coding. I have a Bernese mountain dog, Tobi, who makes sure everything goes according to plan and strictly enforces the breaks.

In a client's words
“I used to log every plant on paper, and keep sales, repots and stock in Excel. Levente built custom software for exactly that. We went through what I needed in one meeting and set out how it should work. The admin that took up to two hours a day now takes 10 to 20 minutes.”

The things clients ask first

The price of software depends on a lot of things, so first we define together what the finished state or the MVP should be. We give a fixed-price proposal for that specification.

It depends on the project, but the MVP of a smaller project is usually ready in 4–6 weeks.

Then we talk through the changes, and depending on how big they are, we adjust the proposal.

Once the final payment is made, the code is yours. We hand it over one of two ways: we transfer ownership of the GitHub repo, or we send it to you as a compressed archive.

Every piece of software we build comes with a 1-year warranty: if a bug shows up, we fix it free of charge. Security updates are part of operations.

It depends on the project, what server it needs and how much upkeep it takes. The scoping report spells out the expected monthly cost up front.

The dashboard shows you the state of the project: the milestones, the tasks, and as the work moves forward, the software itself through a link.

Yes, at every milestone you get a version you can try and test yourself.

With a free discovery call where you tell us the purpose of the software, your internal processes and every small detail you have in mind. From that we write a detailed document, and once you approve it, we give you a proposal.
